Use of the Website

This website is provided for informational purposes about our martial arts academies and the programs we offer. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or related systems
Interfere with the site's normal operation
Use the site to transmit malicious code, spam, or harassing material
Scrape or copy content for commercial use without our written permission

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, video, and the Checkmat name and mark — is owned by Academy Worldwide LLC, our licensors (including Checkmat Worldwide), or other third parties, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws.

The "Checkmat" name and logo are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here under official affiliate authorization.

Trial Classes & Enrollment

Trial-class bookings, enrollment, payment, and waivers are handled through our individual school websites (academyjj.com and academyyl.com) and at the academies themselves. The terms of those bookings and any waivers signed at the school govern your participation in classes and are separate from these website Terms.

Assumption of Risk

Important — Combat Sports Disclaimer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and similar martial arts involve inherent physical risk including but not limited to bruises, sprains, joint injury, concussion, and other injuries. By participating in any class or trial session — whether free or paid — you accept these risks and acknowledge that you should consult a physician before beginning any new physical activity. Our academies require all students and trial participants to sign a separate liability waiver before participating in classes. This website does not constitute medical, fitness, or legal advice.
